For those who know that Brittany's birthday is in December, you might be surprised to find out we celebrated her birthday on June 30.
(She wondered out loud one day how come we couldn't celebrate her 1/2 birthday so any and all presents wouldn't be given to her starting Dec 25 and ending Dec 30. Tally and I thought about it briefly and said we didn't care when she got her presents, so we moved her "birthday presents day" to June 30.)
I decided we would not do cake then too, that would have be for her actual birthday. Dec. 30th was a big day for me personally, I couldn't just do away with it entirely!
Last, but not least, we celebrated Andrew's 10th birthday on July 6th. The girls posted signs all over the house wishing him a "Happy Birthday" everywhere they thought he might go that morning. That also happened to be the day we had planned a trip to the Indianapolis Indians game, so Dallin (his uncle), had his name posted on the scoreboard at one point during the game, in honor of his 10th birthday! It was a wonderful day!

Oh, how wonderful! Tell Brittany I grew up having a pogo stick and LOVED it! (It works best on concrete. :-) And as for the air rifle, those are great. In fact, I have one!
