Yes! It was my birthday on October 14. Other than school, laundry and homework it was a great day!
We have had such busy evenings the last few weeks, it was hard to fit in any kind of birthday celebration. If we were busy in the evenings when the kids were little, we would just have our birthday parties in the morning, before the first person had to leave for the day. However, since Brett has early morning seminary and leaves at 6:15 am, we didn't think the kids would enjoy even my birthday that early! HA! So we had a bit of a rush "party" Wednesday night.
The kids and Tally made dinner. Brittany baked a chocolate mint cheesecake, that we topped with cherry filling. Brett made lemonade, Elaine made a yummy Caesar salad, and Courtney and Elaine together were in charge of decorations. Andrew helped eat the food. :)
